fuck this shit, I want to kms.
The thing is that I’m too focused on YC acceptance itself, which, distracts me from actually building something.
I prefer being mentally nested in my own idea.
When you have your own idea, the idea almost feels like this customized chair that only you can sit in.
So, 2 days.
Option A, come up with something that is AI and work on that.
Option B, write about the silly taxi app idea. Limitations, insights, plans.
My biggest concern: the addressable market size is probably less than a billion. But who said it has to be limited to SK? If I can win the lawsuits in Korea, what’s there to stop me doing the same abroad? What are we really doing here? Is it just about the regulations?
I ran the service regardless of the legality, I did it even when I didn’t have the balls to. It felt like losing virginity, or getting tattoos for the first time.
And then I had hundreds of people lining up to tell me: “There’s a reason for that regulation to exist”, “How do you want those drivers to survive now?”
Yeah… breaking the laws, adding more competition is pretty bad I guess. But you guys are the same fucking group of people that say “oh yeah the gatekeeping is pretty serious, the system needs to change”. Stupid hypocrites. Fuck you.
I question the sustainability of this business plan every damn minute, but what if it’s the right thing to do? Like, I might get jailed and sued and put into a financial crisis that I can never swim out of and consequently disappoint my entire family. But what if it works? What if ICT sandbox accepts my request and provides an exception of law? What if hundreds and thousands of non-license-holders stand up for me after the test run of the service and say “hey, this works”? If I can lower the fair price and service fee then there’s a chance for me to get to 200,000 individuals to sign the petition and potentially changing the line of law that’s creating this mess. The change will happen one way or another, what if this IS the right way to do it?
